Feb. 19, 1990 Dear Tony: I know that I have already told you how absolutely fantastic your new Bodycise II workout tape is, but I wanted to put my thoughts into writing, because I can do it much better this way rather than over the phone. First of all, It is so terrific, in this age of so many rip-off schemes and products, to find someone like you who develops a wonderful exercise program which fully lives up to all of its promises- an exercise program which has given me the opportunity to achieve goals I have dreamed about all my life. By nature, I am a very skeptical person who believes that very few products fully live up to the claims and promises that come with them. To be honest, I felt that your workout program would probably be one more disappointment. But, as you know, you proved me wrong - Thank goodness! As for Bodycise II, what can I say? It’s fantastic!!!! Incorporating the time clock graph was a terrific idea. Because Bodycise II is more intense than the original tape, it presents a greater challenge and the graph helps me to achieve a little more each day. I particularly like the pace of each exercise. The movements are so well paced that it gives me the opportunity to pay more attention to my muscles and to what they are doing and how they are working. It may sound silly, but each exercise feels like a finely choreographed dance! I’m also glad to see more extensive static stretching. It really enhances the actual exercises. All in all, I never would have believed what you program could do for me (and countless others) if I hadn’t seen it for myself! What a small price to pay for such a major change in my life! Just this evening, after giving my testimonial on Brian’s show my wife, Ellen, asked me, “Will you ever get fat again?” I said, “Not as long as I have Tony’s tapes”. (Anyone who touches my workout tapes would get their fingers broken!!!) I know that you must be tired of hearing from me by now, but I did want you to have my testimonial for Bodycise II in writing.
