Lost 75+ pounds
Jenn

I can't wait to share my good news with you all. My name is Jenn and I weighed 275.5 pounds just over 1 and 1/2 years ago. I now weigh 200 pounds and have Tony Little and the Gazelle to thank.
I have struggled with being heavy most of my life, but in the last 4 years it was getting way out of control. I bought the Gazelle, jumped on and had FUN! At first I could only stay on for 1-2 minutes, then I could stay on for 5 minutes, but I had to use my arms to hold up my body because my back could not support my weight. Now, I go on 20 minutes and not use my arms to support me as my legs are strong enough. I watched the tape and watched Tony every chance I got on the Shopping Channel. I'd write down the different moves I'd see him do and give it a go on my next routine. I do admit I most enjoy walking, skiing or running with no impact. I do calf stretches and enjoy giving my arms a good working by not pumping with my legs. I also lean forward on the Gazelle to work out my chest and I lean back to work out my biceps and back muscles, but mostly I just quickly walk/run/ski.
The changes in me are overwhelming that sometimes I have to stop and think about what I've accomplished in such a short period of time. Pictures of my "obese" self help me remember where I've come from and encourage me to keep going.
At 275 pounds I was diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea. I was having interrupted sleep more than once per minute. I stopped breathing several times each night. The fat in my neck was blocking my airway when I slept. So, after much testing and purchase of a $1200 machine to help me breathe at night, I was finally getting a good night's sleep.
After losing the 75 pounds, the sleep clinic was astonished that I had lost so much weight. Now, I don't need to sleep with that cumbersome machine and a mask over my face every night. My sleep apnea is gone!
I used to buy a size 26 pant and size 4 X or 5X top. I now fit into size 18 jeans and extra large shirt.
I had many problems finding a piece of equipment that would handle my weight and start getting my body burning calories. My knees clicked when I'd go on a bike and my doctor advised me against treadmills as the impact on my knees would be too much.
The Gazelle was and still is a perfect fit. It was approved by my doctor and I could right away start to work out.
My goal before I started this program was to be able to take my 2 dogs for a walk. Now, I take them on long walks and even run with them. I can rest easy knowing that heartburn does not mean I'm having a heart attack.
I love shopping for clothes and am thrilled to see how well they fit on me. I feel like I'm beautiful again, and am more confident that people are seeing the real me.
Tony Little is such an inspiration to me. To see what success he has had in life and how fit he is, is motivation enough for me. I truly feel as though he cares for each of our successes and that each life is important. Like so many others who have tried the Gazelle and used your tapes, you are saving lives. I'm proud to admit I'm a life you've saved. I still have some pounds to go and I'll always be on the healthy eating, exercising journey, but with a machine that is as easy and fun to use as the Gazelle, at least it won't be a boring journey.
At 275 pounds, everyday felt like I was dying. Now, I'm living again and not taking my life for granted. It's precious and I'm worth it.
Thank you kindly for everything. I hope I can help be an inspiration to someone out there who needs that extra push to get going.
